NSF Disclosure Guidance

Guidance on Current and Pending Support can be found in the latest version of the Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG), version 24-1, effective for proposals submitted or due, and awards made, on or after May 20, 2024.

  • The types of activities to be reported.
  • Where such activities must be reported in the application.
  • When updates are required in the application and award lifecycle.

Current and pending support information is used by the NSF to assess the capacity of the individuals to carry out the research as proposed, as well as to help assess any potential overlap/duplication with the project being proposed or awarded.
