Looking ahead to the summer, we are pleased to announce the Montshire Business Partnership Employee Appreciation Week again! Bring a company ID, nametag, business card, or other ID to show at the front desk

This special event for our employees will take place from Monday, August 17, through Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the Montshire Museum of Science.

Employees of Montshire Business Partnership companies (MBP), and their friends and families can enjoy free admission all week during our Employee Appreciation Week.

Explore the new summer exhibition: 

Creatividad Silvestre / Wild Creativity, Biomimicry changing our world

This dynamic, inquiry-based exhibition invites visitors of all ages to discover how the natural world inspires human innovation—and how we can apply nature’s wisdom to solve new and pressing challenges. At its core is a powerful question: What would nature do? The exhibition is presented in both English and Spanish.

Through hands-on design challenges, visitors will learn about the principles of biomimicry—and how engineers have applied those same principles to design the world around us. Such as: What do hedgehog quills and cat paw pads have in common? Or flying squirrels and dandelion seeds? How does a kangaroo gain energy as it bounces? Or how does a prairie dog cool its home on the arid grasslands of North America? The answers to these questions just might hold the key to current human design challenges, from creating safety cushions to generating electricity! Open now through September 7, 2026.

Head outdoors to:

Cool off in the water exhibits of David Goudy Science Park. In the Healing Forest stroll under the shady canopy along one of our forest trails or explore the outdoor exhibits where you will find The Play Grove, Timber Tumble and the Wind Phone along the banks of the Connecticut River.
