Volunteer Time-Off Policy

Looking for ways to give back to your community and meet new people? Try volunteering! Our Volunteer Time Off Policy allows all regular benefits-eligible employees up to one day of paid time off from regularly scheduled work hours each fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) to perform volunteer services through organizations affiliated with the United Way. 

Lone Pine Recognition Program

The Lone Pine Recognition Program provides a variety of ways in which we recognize employees for their outstanding contributions to Dartmouth including an awards program, gratitude baskets, a summer social event and more.

“Trekking Tuesdays” Group Walks

Get together with other faculty & staff every Tuesday for a walk around campus or through town. Meet at the flagpoles on the green at 12:15 for a 30-45-minute walk. Pulse participants earn a 50-point voucher on one random Tuesday each month. You do not need to be a Pulse participant to join the walks. Rain or shine! CURRENTLY ON HOLD.

Hopkins Center for the Arts

The Hop is a multidisciplinary arts center presenting more than 500 events annually, serving both Dartmouth and the public. 

Hood Museum of Art

Dartmouth's collections are among the oldest and largest of any college or university in the country. Admission is free.
